HCP has added a new preferred in-network lab for your outpatient lab testing. Since out-of-network lab services are not covered under our members’ benefit plans, your patient will receive the maximum plan benefit and a lower out-of-pocket expense when using Sherman Abrams Labs.
Convenient Lab Services for Your Practice and Patients
To make lab work as seamless as possible, Sherman Abrams Labs offers two flexible options:
- In-Office Blood Draws: If you draw blood in your office, our team will arrange prompt pick-up and transport of the samples to the lab—no extra steps required.
- Patient Laboratory Visits: You can also refer patients directly to a participating laboratory for sample collection at their convenience at our Brooklyn and Manhattan locations.

- Over 96% of specimen testing is performed in-house, with an overnight turnaround time, yielding diagnostically reliable and precise results
